HOLIDAY DAY 2

edium has returned. They all spent the morning sleeping and we had a bbq in the afternoon. By we I mean I cooked it and everyone else watched!
No one wanted to go out. Not far from here is a street that is meant to be full of houses with xmas lights etc. The paper has been banging on about it and the rellies here have gone on and on about how great it is with huge crowds flocking to see the wonder of the lights!
As soon as its dark I drag out as many as I can to go and look.
They were right. At least about the crowds the street, which is quite long and on a hill, was teeming with people both sides with food vendors people selling trinkets and bands playing. The crowd was thicker than going into the MCG on grand final day.
And yes most houses had lights but it was no northern constellation or halleys comet. There are better lights at the intersection of main st and railway parade in cunderdin.
So another wasted day. Still I feel pretty good and the lezzies and annette are going to rangitoto for the day so I might go get the lunch session at showgirls half price lunchtme deal. (Its only a dollar normally). Then get to some serious drinking with the bro and his new one.
